Continuity of Relationship

Our practice has a history of building and maintaining long term client relationships. One of our major clients has been with the practice since its commencement in 1980. Another client has been with us for over 20 years and several others for ten years or more.

Litigation Strategy

Being proactive is the core to our approach to litigation and dispute resolution. We don't wait for things to happen. In conjunction with our client an appropriate strategy is tailored to suit the claim or dispute and we then proactively pursue that strategy to ensure resolution of the claim at the earliest possible time. We don't let the court or other parties dictate the progress of matters. In matters capable of resolution, a proactive approach will invariably result in an early cost effective resolution of a dispute.

If a settlement is not possible the litigation is thoroughly prepared in a timely manner prior to trial. Only the very best counsel are recommended and their fees are discussed and agreed with our client prior to counsel being retained.

Matters are proactively managed to ensure cost effective finalisation at the earliest possible opportunity.

All Victorian Lawyers are required to participate in a compulsory Professional Insurance Scheme, which is operated by the Law Institute of Victoria. Ligeti Partners is a member of that scheme.
